I did not say a word and handed her the flowers.

The man in front of me was buying coffee and asked the sales associate how her daughter was doing. The lady looked sad. As the man walked out and held the door open for me, he said, “Her daughter was in a bad accident and is in a coma.”

Two bouquets were passed out, one with a heartfelt prayer. One for the man to give to his wife and one for the mother who was behind the counter. I did not say a word and handed her the flowers.
