“There but for the grace of God go I.”

Today, a woman about 90-years-old was seated next to a lady who was laying on a stretcher in the activity room of a nursing home. The lady was moaning and groaning during the hour long program. The sweet lady sitting next to her who seemed to have a little trouble speaking, haltingly said, “I sit and pray for her because there but for the grace of God go I.”

I learn lessons every day. I see so much courage. I see so much acceptance of the things they cannot change.
