This is Cliff standing in front of some of the twenty bags that he brought to my house. I am so grateful for all of the stuffed animals that you have donated. We are well-stocked now. A Middle School from Flemington donated 890 last week; Janice coordinated a stuffed animal collection from her co-workers at a NJ Manufacturing corporation, six big trash bags chock-filled with plush furry critters. Cliff and Sue from Flanders, NJ are on their way to my house right now with her whole trunk filled. Hard to believe this wonderful bounty! So, I am all set. Cliff and Sue just arrived from the Delaware Water Gap area, a two hour ride with about 500 wonderful stuffed animals. Here are a few pictures of Cliff and his daughter’s generous donation of her childhood pals!
We still need tissue paper corsages, bubbles and birdseed packs. Great project for kids doing community service projects.
On the posting on my site are descriptions of why we need the above for seniors living in care communities as well as for our visit to Gilda’s Place for cancer support, the AIDS Hospice and for other people who are in need of comfort and encouragement.
