Meryl made 113 beautiful tissue paper corsages – big hit today with residents!

Oh, it was wonderful. It was pouring rain outside and the spirit of the residents looked pretty downcast to me, too. Then, I brought in a box of beautiful corsages made by Meryl of Bucks County.

Both the men and women picked the color that they wanted. The aids and I put the corsages on  wheelchairs, wrists and buttonholes. It was a beautiful sight to see. I loved giving them out and meeting Meryl today for the “pick-up” of her donation of 113 tissue paper corsages.

She only used one Dollar Store package of multi-colored tissue paper and one pack of pipecleaners. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, for just pennies a piece. And priceless, to see the joy on the faces of the people we visited.

The flowers are prettier than I could have even imagined. I thank you, Meryl,  from the bottom of my heart.

This is one of the programs that we offer when we visit Senior Healtcare Facilities.
